Urban e-moto: LiveWire S2 Del Mar and NIU NQi Sport

These are not kick scooters. The Del Mar is a street-legal electric motorcycle. The NQi Sport is a sit-down e-moped at 28 mph. Different licenses, different parking, different insurance. Check your state before you shop.

Zero S, noted without a price

Zero’s street S is still listed as a 2026 model on dealer showrooms, and zeromotorcycles.com/model/zero-s is live. Dealer pages showed a $14,995 starting MSRP; the official page fetch also showed $13,495 in a JS-heavy fragment. Those two numbers conflict, so we are not publishing a Zero price until it is re-checked on the official PDP. Dealer-published city range of 154 miles is not an SAE J2982 figure and should not be lined up next to LiveWire’s.
